Japan: Chasing Sakura

Seeing these lovely pink flowers signals the beginning of spring season. Hooray! And during this time of the year, lots of tourists visit Japan just to see the charming cherry blossoms, known as "sakura" in Japanese. Who wouldn't be captivated by its beauty?

Indeed, springtime in Japan is nothing less than magical. They are breathtaking! No words can describe the feelings you'll feel when you laid eyes on the rows of cherry blossom trees - pure happiness!

Sakura viewing is truly popular in Japan, it captures both locals and foreigners, so expect a huge crowd during the visit. Trust me, taking a photo without people around you is quite impossible. >_<  You can have a picnic under the trees (like those people above) or just chill.

Remember the best time to view these flowers is from late March to mid-April. Fall in love as the beautiful pink flowers blanket the ground in soft, colourful splendor.

Yokatta (よかった)!
