Swag of Sydney: Harbour Ferry

Yikes.. this is a long overdue post! Whew, I can't even find a term to describe how busy I am. Arg! Vacation loading......

Anyway, so after a stressful and demanding year, I was glad the cool breeze of winter season helped me relax. err.. during that time.

Yes, t'was winter

If you plan to visit Sydney, there are several modes of transportation you can (should) try - from the train to the buses. But if you want something different, you can try the Harbour Ferry. It can take visitors to different areas, from Circular Quay to Parramatta.

Harbour Ferry arriving

While waiting for the harbour ferry, you can let your eyes feast on the scenic surrounding.

Yachts docked

No need to purchase a ticket if you have the Opal, you can use it to ride the Harbour Ferry. Just tap on and then off!

Depending on the day and destination, some terminals are a bit crowded but no worries as the areas are clean.

The ferries are spacious with seats inside, but some passengers prefer to stay on the deck to have a better view of the harbour.

Spacious area inside the ferry

There are 10 stops including Balmain, Double Bay, Manly, Parramatta, Taronga Zoo, Darling Harbour, Cockatoo Island, etc. From the Harbour Ferry, you can have a panoramic view of some residential houses that look like castles, the Darling Harbour, the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge.

Anyone travelling to Sydney should try the Harbour Ferry It's relaxing! Promise... ^_^
